TORONTO, ON, December 2, 2003. Looking for a very simple way to give back to the community this holiday season? Look no further than your mouse! RedFlagDeals.com today announced the launch of an online giving campaign in partnership with online giving site CanadaHelps.org.

“It’s our third anniversary, and we wanted to do something special to commemorate it. For the last three years we have helped thousands of Canadians save money on their purchases,” said Derek Szeto, Founder, RedFlagDeals.com.  “We are delighted to be working with CanadaHelps.org at this time of year to give back to the community a portion of what our users have saved.”

Site visitors will have the opportunity to make an online donation to one of three selected charities, Canadian Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and the Nature Conservancy of Canada. The campaign runs until January 1, 2022 and hopes to raise $10,000 for the three causes.

Here’s how it works:

2. Click on the ‘DONATE’ icon
3. Select one of the charities to make a donation
4. Enter an amount (RedFlagDeals.com is recommending five per cent of site members’ purchase or a percentage of your total holiday giving)
5. Enter the name of the donor (if the donation is a gift)
6. You’re done!
